The complex patterns in Orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMD's) are related to atypical patterns and postures of the face, mouth, lips, or jaw are often not well-recognized or understood. Mary Billings, MS, CCC-SLP has extensive experience treating clients, lecturing, and mentoring other healthcare professional about the impact of Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders.
 

Over her years of specialization, Mary has mentored 100’s of clinicians, providing clarity in diagnositics and treatment methodology for clinicians who often became "stuck" in their therapeutic plans. As a business owner of 25+ years, her vast experience in treating clients of all ages and varying disorders with OMD's added a degree of experience and depth not broadly seen in the field.
 
After many years of receiving private requests , Mary is now offering "MENTORING PACKAGES" to other professionals who are hoping to add more depth to their understanding of OMDS' and how to effectively treat them. These sessions are private and 1:1 time with Mary, scheduled at the purchaser's convenience. 

Mentoring occurs in blocks of time. Small and large blocks of time are available. Clinicians purchasing a time block specify particular areas to address. Candidates may opt to "split" a time purchase with another colleague.

Mentoring Packages

We hope you saw Dianah’s keynote presentation at the 2020 online IAOM convention. “OMD Therapy: That Rabbit Hole is Deeper Than We Thought” was inspired by the many complications and struggles that can arise treating your patients. After learning the basics of Orofacial Myology, you might be ready to take that next step. As a subject matter expert in this field, Dianah continues her own learning in order to pass these skills to you. Recognizing modifications to treatment or referring to a collaborative resources can be essential to successful completion. Mentoring and consultation sessions are great avenues to gain these skills.

Dianah now is offering 1:1 or group sessions to field questions, review case studies or help with your private patient via online meetings. The basics can only take you so far and these sessions might be just what you need when you are stuck. A thorough reviews of diagnosis and previous treatment will be included. In addition, with a family permission, Dianah can join in during treatment sessions and advise.

She also offers in-office visits to advise therapy methods within your practice. Customized visit costs will be individualized pending travel expenses.
